Jeanne Turner is a gifted artist who not only captures the audience with her music, but also has a life story that keeps the listener with jaw dropped! Jeanne is from Crossville, TN. She was born and raised there, and went to a church where her grandfather was the pastor. Being raised and rooted in the gospel, gospel music, and miracles, Jeanne was bound to follow that direction as she got older!
Jeanne has a burning desire to take her music to to all that will listen in an effort to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Her bluegrass style will get every foot stomping, and put a smile on every face wherever she goes! Jeanne most recently recorded a Country/Bluegrass/Gospel album with GodsChild Records, which is self titled. She had some of the best back up singers, engineering and production that Nashville offers, and her CD's are selling like hotcakes!
Jeanne was recently rated as Artist #16 out of the top 200 Mainstream International Artists on the overseas charts, and her hit Bluegrass single, "Last of Our Days," has remained in the top 40 since it was released in March, 2009! She was ask to take the stage at the infamous Homestead Apple Festival in Crossville Tn, after opener Carrie Hassler steps down on Sept. 26th, 2009! And she is thrilled to be showcasing her Country/Bluegrass voice at the ICM Awards week on the TBN auditorium stage in Oct. 2009! While that album was being worked on, 34 year old Jeanne, suffered 3 heart attacks! She was due to have open heart surgery and a stint put in her heart. Before that came to be, the Lord Jesus healed her, and spared her from this surgery! Five different ambulances...all different hospitals, and all the while, Jeanne was thinking about the testimony that she'd have to give others! Now THAT'S an amazing woman!
